Domestic(Household) Robotics
A domestic robot, is an autonomous which is normally used for assistance in getting the household chores done in a convenient manner. Thus far, there are only a few limited models, but because of level of convenience these appliances offer, it is being predicted by speculators, such as Bill Gates, that they could become more common in very near future. Many domestic robots are used for basic household chores. Others are educational or entertainment robots, such as the HERO line of the 1980s. While most domestic robots are simplistic, some are connected to WiFi home networks or smart environments and are autonomous to a high degree.
We are amongst very few companies in India who huge variety of Domestic Robots, and also provide spares and service support. Do get in touch with us through the contact us page on this website, if you have any business inquiry.
A robotic vacuum cleaner, often called a robovac, is an autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner that has intelligent programming and a limited vacuum cleaning system. Some designs use spinning brushes to reach tight corners. Others combine a number of cleaning features simultaneous to vacuuming, thus rendering the machine into more than just a robot “vacuum” cleaner.
The first robot cleaner to be put into production was Electrolux Trilobite by the Swedish household and professional appliances manufacturer, Electrolux. In 1996, one of Electrolux’s first versions of the Trilobite vacuum was featured on the BBC’s science program.
In 2014, Dyson announced its comeback to the robotic vacuum industry with the Dyson 360 Eye. The 360 refers to a 360 degree camera that is mounted on the robot and is supposed to provide a better orientation while cleaning. This is a different approach to navigation and path finding compared to products from Neato Robotics or iRobot. The robot vacuum was scheduled for a Japan-only release in spring 2015 but international launches were expected to follow later in the year.
